Darius Leef (Rangitāne, Ngāpuhi) is Tū Mai Rā Energy’s first apprentice. Darius brings with him a dynamic set of work experience which encompasses building, logistics, warehouse management, butchery and machine operator. Darius is young and fit and thrives in a team environment.

Darius has a passion for taking on energy poverty and is on the path to obtain the skills to help those in need overcome energy hardship through renewable energy solutions.

Darius was born in Waikato and completed his schooling at Cambridge High School. Darius loves sport in particular, basketball where he played and coached all through high school and continues to enjoy the sport outside of work. In his spare time Darius can be found on a basketball court or studying hard towards his apprenticeship.
